Common questions

Signing in or switching accounts

Use the sign-in method associated with your account. To choose another Google account, sign out of Dropboard in Settings, then tap Continue with Google. If sign-in fails, check your internet connection and try again.

Signing in with the same verified email may return you to your existing Dropboard account, including its saved drafts.

Inviting a friend

Open Friends → Invite Friends and share your invitation code. Your friend can open Dropboard, choose “Have an invite code?”, paste the code, and accept.

A copied code is text, not a download link. Your friend needs Dropboard installed. If a code has expired or was already used, create another invitation.

Receiving a drop and setting up a widget
  1. Open Collection → Received and find a drop from your friend.
  2. Tap “Use on [friend]’s widget” to choose that board.
  3. For your first widget, touch and hold the iPhone Home Screen and open the widget gallery. Find Dropboard and add a widget.
  4. Touch and hold the widget → Edit Widget → Friend, then choose the matching friend. Repeat for each friend you want on your Home Screen.

Selecting a drop changes the content available to an existing widget. iOS controls refresh timing; Dropboard cannot add a Home Screen widget automatically.

Finding an unfinished draft

Return to the same account and the Write, Draw or Song editor. Drafts are saved on that device and separated by account. Signing out keeps them for when you return; drafts are not a guaranteed cloud backup.

Sending while offline

Sending and loading friends need an internet connection. If a connection error appears, reconnect, open the same draft and retry. A failed send does not mean your drop arrived—check for confirmation.

Reporting or blocking someone

Open the … menu beside a friend or a received drop. Choose Report, select a reason, and optionally add details or also block the person. Reports go to a private review queue. For help with abuse, email panthshah27@gmail.com.

Blocking stops drops and invitations between you and that person. Their drops and selected widget are hidden after a successful refresh; offline devices may retain cached content until they reconnect. Manage blocks in Settings → Blocked people. Unblocking does not automatically reconnect you—use an invitation to become friends again.

Deleting your account

Open Settings → Delete account and confirm. This deletes your Dropboard account and related server records. Signing out alone does not delete your account. If deletion fails, reconnect and retry, or email us from your account email address.

Copies saved outside Dropboard, such as screenshots, cannot be recalled. See the privacy policy for local caches, service logs and retention details.
